Nine Distributors Win Extravagant Prizes at The ASI Show Las Vegas
TREVOSE, PA (April 24, 2006) Nine lucky attendees at the ninth annual ASI Show Las Vegas (March 22-24, 2006 at the Venetian/Sands Expo Center) were chosen from thousands of entries as winners of fantastic prizes for the show’s popular “Passport to Winnings” contest. ASI Las Vegas drew nearly 4,000 distributors from over 1,600 ASI member companies. Attendees came from 48 different states and 22 different countries, including distributors from South America, Europe and Japan. Prizes available in the “Passport to Winnings” drawing included trips to the 2007 Las Vegas ASI Show, a Plasma TV, a Year’s Worth of Gas, Apple iPod Nanos, Digital Cameras and the Ultimate Prize a two-year lease on a 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster.
“The Passport to Winnings is one of our most popular programs and continues to grow and gain excitement each year,” said Matthew Cohn, President of The ASI Show. “The program is a win-win situation. Participating suppliers experience busy traffic throughout both show days, and distributors get a chance to learn about vendors’ newest products, earn free shipping and win some great prizes. At each show, I always hear positive feedback from both participating suppliers and attendees, telling me how much they enjoy and appreciate the program, which is very rewarding.”
In Las Vegas, the Grand Prize choice between a 42” Plasma TV or a Year’s Worth of Gas went to Gurdeep Sayal, President of Sikhlink, LLC, asi/326671. The two winners of the First Prize, the Ultimate Office featuring ESP Online, were Jean Martin, CEO of Ohio Select Imprinted Fabrics, asi/287086 and Lew Moore, Owner of Moore Enterprises, asi/276177. Four winners received the Second Prize, a trip to the 2007 ASI Show Las Vegas: David Pike from The Bullit Group, asi/150075; Katherine Hellner from West Hawk Industries, asi/358230; Herb Levy, President of Five Thousand Forms, Inc., asi/194733 and William Devlin, President of Staples World, asi/334644. Two Third Prize winners Linda Raschilla, of Consolidated Advertising, asi/166930 and Cristina Sanchez from Family Enterprises, Inc., asi/191825 were able to choose between an Apple iPod Nano and a Digital Camera as their prize.
In total, The ASI Show Passport program will award prizes to 46 lucky winners in 2006 including the Ultimate Prize, a two-year lease on a 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster! The Ultimate Prize winner will be chosen (from all non-winning entries received during all five 2006 shows) during the Closing Celebration at The ASI Show Chicago, July 11-13, the final ASI Show of the year.
Future 2006 Shows
The ASI Show Las Vegas was the third of five ASI Shows in 2006. The remaining two ASI Shows are Philadelphia, May 23-25 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and Chicago, July 11-13 at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Mary Upton, Vice President of Tradeshow Operations, noted, “The first quarter is such an important time for everyone in the industry, and we’ve delivered more than 15,000 distributors to our exhibitors’ booths at our Orlando, Dallas and Las Vegas ASI Shows and the all-new Advantages Roadshow. We’re excited and pleased about the results and we’ve heard lots of positive feedback from happy attendees and exhibitors. I’m looking forward to great shows in Philadelphia and Chicago as well as the continued success of the Advantages Roadshow. I am anticipating a strong finish to our tradeshow year.”
The ASI Show will return to Las Vegas next year on March 19-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Additional 2007 ASI Shows include Orlando, Dallas, Philadelphia and Chicago
