Nine Distributors Win Extravagant Prizes at The ASI Show Philadelphia
TREVOSE, PA (June 28, 2006) Nine lucky attendees were chosen from hundreds of “Passport to Winnings” contest entries at the second annual ASI Show Philadelphia (May 23-25 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center). Prizes available in the Passport to Winnings drawing include trips to the 2007 ASI Show Las Vegas, a Plasma TV, a Year’s Worth of Gas, Apple iPod Nanos, Digital Cameras and the Ultimate Prize a two-year lease on a 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster. This year’s ASI Philadelphia drew 1,973 distributors (a 14.5% increase in attendance from 2005) from 38 different states and 460 suppliers (featuring over 200 not found at other industry shows in the Northeast).
“The Passport to Winnings is one of our most popular programs for both attendees and exhibitors, and it continues to grow and gain excitement each year,” said Matthew Cohn, president of The ASI Show. “At each show, I always hear positive feedback from both participating suppliers and attendees, telling me how much they enjoy and appreciate the program, which is very rewarding.”
In Philadelphia, the Grand Prize choice between a 42” Plasma TV or a Year’s Worth of Gas went to Marilyn Smith of Skyline Embroidery Plus, asi/328473. The two winners of the First Prize, the Ultimate Office featuring ESP Online, were Joannie Ayres of All-Ways Advertising, asi/119015 and Patty Perry of Open House, asi/287775. Four winners received the Second Prize, a trip to the 2007 ASI Show Las Vegas: Ralph Casale from Keystone Bingo Supply, asi/242433; Michael Russell of Any Supplies, asi/121572; John Pulda from Arizona Screen Printing, asi/123370 and Danette Gibson of Cardwell Printing, asi/344570. Two Third Prize winners Susan Barosko from Proforma, asi/900034 and Charlie Bucks from Custom Sportswear Int’l., asi/173270 were able to choose between an Apple iPod Nano and a Digital Camera as their prize.
In total, The ASI Show Passport program will award prizes to 46 lucky winners in 2006 including the Ultimate Prize, a two-year lease on a 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster! The Ultimate Prize winner will be chosen (from all non-winning entries received during all five 2006 shows) during the Closing Celebration at The ASI Show Chicago, July 11-13, the final ASI Show of the year.
