President Bill Clinton to be Keynote at The ASI Show Philadelphia

TREVOSE, PA — (January 16, 2007) — The ASI Show announced today that William Jefferson Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, will be the Keynote presenter at this year’s ASI Show Philadelphia (May 3-5, 2007). This exclusive Keynote presentation, co-sponsored by SnugZ USA, asi/88060; All In One Manufacturing, asi/34256; Clegg Industries, asi/45450; Fersten Worldwide, asi/53974 and ESP Online, asi/33020, will be held on Saturday, May 5, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. During this private event, ASI Show attendees will have the rare opportunity to hear President Clinton’s unique perspective and insight on the events of our time.

This year’s third annual ASI Show Philadelphia, with new earlier dates, includes an action-packed schedule featuring top-notch education, two exhibit days and daily networking events. “I am excited and pleased to be able to offer our distributor and supplier members this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” commented Matthew Cohn, President of The ASI Show. “We have been trying to secure President Clinton as a Keynote speaker for a number of years. We are honored he has chosen to address the industry at The ASI Show in Philadelphia."

William Jefferson Clinton was elected President of the United States in 1992, and again in 1996 — the first Democratic president to be awarded a second term in six decades. Under his leadership, the United States enjoyed the strongest economy in a generation and the longest economic expansion in U.S. history. President Clinton’s core values of building community, creating opportunity and demanding responsibility resulted in unprecedented progress for America, including moving the nation from record deficits to record surpluses; the creation of over 22 million jobs — more than any other administration; low levels of unemployment, poverty and crime; and the highest homeownership and college enrollment rates in history.

After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation. The mission of the Clinton Foundation is to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. To advance this mission, the foundation is focused on four critical areas: health security, with an emphasis on HIV/AIDS; economic empowerment; citizen service; and racial, ethnic and religious reconciliation.

Additionally, after the December 26, 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, President Clinton joined President George W. Bush and President George H.W. Bush in leading a worldwide fundraising effort to help bring much-needed relief to the victims of this disaster. Nine months later, when Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast, President George W. Bush called upon the former presidents to repeat their successful partnership and lead the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund. The presidents are credited with raising more than $1 billion to support disaster relief and recovery organizations and were recently awarded the 2006 Liberty Medal at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
