The ASI Show Hosts Record Setting Dallas Show
Attendance Grows by More Than 11% Over 2006

TREVOSE, PA — (March 2, 2007) — Continuing the momentum gained from a very successful ASI Orlando show (where over 5,800 distributors attended), the fifth annual ASI Dallas — February 7-9 at the Dallas Convention Center — attracted attendance of 3,753 distributors (a more than 11% increase from 2006), all eager to see over 600 leading suppliers exhibiting at the industry’s largest show in the Southwest.

Consisting of an information-packed education day and two busy exhibit days, The ASI Dallas Show saw thousands of Southwest distributors take time out of their busy schedules to hone their sales techniques and see the year’s newest ad specialty products and services. “This was my first ASI Show and what a fantastic experience!” said Lisa Meirose from JANOCO Promotions (Kaeser-Blair), asi/470444. Paul Scivetti of Synergen, Inc., asi/397417, added, “ASI Dallas was (yet another) great show! You guys always host the best events. The number of exhibitors was wonderful. I enjoyed interacting with vendors and making meaningful connections. Thank you ASI!”

Suppliers were also very pleased with this year’s ASI Dallas Show. “ASI Dallas was a super show for us!” announced Ron Baron from Winthrop-Atkins Co., asi/ 97570. “Both ASI Orlando and Dallas were great events. We love it! Traffic was busy, consistent and comprised of quality distributors. ASI Dallas will help lay the groundwork for an excellent sales year!" Karlie Buchanan of Alumicolor, asi/34910, added, “ASI Dallas was an excellent show! The show floor was busy both days, which was great. I have been very impressed with The ASI Shows so far this year. Both Orlando and Dallas exceeded our expectations! Thank you for putting on such good events. I look forward to ASI Las Vegas.” And, Mel Ellis from HumphreyLine, Inc., asi/62050, shared, “The ASI Dallas Show was very strong! We had great booth traffic all the way through the end of the second day — and that is rare. We look forward to ASI Las Vegas!”

ASI Show President Matthew Cohn said, “We’re very excited about the incredible growth we’ve experienced in our first two shows of the year. This year’s record attendance in Dallas, along with our fantastic show in Orlando, prove that more and more distributors are choosing The ASI Show to grow their business. This is exciting news, and I expect this momentum to continue throughout our remaining three 2007 shows.”

Cohn added, “Since ASI Dallas, I have repeatedly heard from both distributors and suppliers expressing their excitement and appreciation for the show. As with every show, our number one priority is to make sure that distributors are happy with the variety and number of exhibitors and suppliers are experiencing steady, quality booth traffic. And judging by feedback, the show attained that goal.” Cohn went on to say, “I look forward to receiving more feedback about The ASI Dallas Show and am confident we’ll be able to incorporate some of that feedback into future shows to make it an even better experience for everyone involved.”

High Marks for Education Conference
The Education Conference, sponsored by Fields Manufacturing, asi/54100, provided dozens of training seminars to hundreds of distributors and suppliers throughout the day on Wednesday, February 7. One of the highlights of Education Day was the LaDonna Gatlin Lunch & Learn Presentation, sponsored by SHEPENCO/Shelbyville Pencil, asi/86850, “Seven Key Principles for Integrity-Driven Living.”

On Thursday and Friday, there were additional opportunities for learning. Hour-long Power Sessions offered attendees industry education on the show floor. The popular Supplier Secrets Keynote: “How Suppliers’ Newest Products and Selling Ideas can Help Make You More Money,” held on February 8, featured mini-presentations by 14 well-known suppliers who shared their best products and sales ideas. On Friday, February 9, sales expert and best selling author Chris Lytle spoke about “How to Build Relationships Your Competitors Can’t Steal.”

Texas-Style Networking in Dallas
Nearly 700 party-goers enjoyed a true Texas-style barbeque at one of the industry’s most acclaimed networking events, The Ultimate Texas Bash at Eddie Deen’s Ranch, sponsored by SnugZ USA, asi/88060. Attendees were treated to Eddie Deen’s famous ribs, beef brisket, smoked turkey as well as open bar, fun networking and great entertainment highlighted by local favorite country band, Breckenridge. Throughout the evening, attendees relaxed and enjoyed the festive atmosphere by packing the dance floor and laughing with colleagues while wearing fashionable foam Cowboy hats which were given out compliments of Spirit Industries, asi/88740. Pam Malone from Creative Business Resources, asi/170298, expressed her thoughts shared by many partygoers, “The party at Eddie Deen’s was fantastic… superb food, a fabulous band and a great time!”

Networking events were held every day of the show and included a tour of ASI supplier member company Numo Manufacturing’s factory, Welcome to Dallas Reception, Celebrate Dallas Reception and the Closing Celebration.
