2009 ASI Advantages Roadshow Schedule Features 77 Local Shows Across the United StatesStitches Roadshow Expanded to Six Cities

TREVOSE, PA — (June 4, 2008) — The ASI Show announced the 2009 16-week U.S. schedule for the ASI Advantages Roadshow, which has emerged as the largest, best-attended traveling show in the advertising specialty industry.

The new schedule is designed to increase the ASI Advantages Roadshow presence in additional cities, consolidate some geographic regions and preserve portions of the schedule. In addition, the Stitches Roadshow will be co-located in six cities with the Advantages Roadshow, a three-city expansion of the embroidery equipment and supplies show.

Since the beginning of the year, and with several weeks remaining in the season, more than 9,200 people have attended the Advantages Roadshow — that's over 700 distributors, on average, attending a typical week and far more attendees than any competing traveling industry show.

Many of the industry’s leading supplier companies have chosen the Advantages Roadshow as their platform to introduce new products and services. Companies such as SanMar (asi/84863), Prime Resources (asi/79530), Gold Bond (asi/57653), Stouse (asi/89910) and Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125), have made the Advantages Roadshow part of their annual exhibition plan.

"We made a strategic effort to formulate a calendar for 2009 that allowed us to visit additional key regions of the country where more distributors and suppliers could meet," said Timothy M. Andrews, Chief Executive Officer of ASI and President of The ASI Show.

Nick DiNicola, Advantages Roadshow General Manager, added, "The Advantages Roadshow will be making 77 stops during its 2009 16-week U.S. schedule. Six cities will be co-located with the Stitches Roadshow. These co-located shows proved to be very successful in 2008 with 400 or more distributors and decorators attending each of the joint Roadshows in St. Louis, Detroit and Denver. During these co-located events, exhibitors will have the opportunity to spend quality time with decorated apparel professionals, many of whom are also selling a variety of ad specialty products, and distributors will be able to better understand the latest in embroidery trends and supplies.”

The 2009 Advantages Roadshow schedule can be found at www.advantagesroadshow.com. The schedule is subject to additions and/or changes.  All advertising specialty distributors and decorators are welcome to attend. Suppliers interested in exhibiting at the Advantages Roadshow should contact Nick DiNicola at ndinicola@asicentral.com or their ASI Show sales representative at 877-ASI-SHOW.

The five remaining 2008 Advantages Roadshow weeks include the Midsouth, August 18-22; Northeast IV (incorporating PromoShows’ East Coast Business Gifts and Promotional Products Showcase), September 2-5; Midwest IV, September 8-12; California II, September 22-26 and Midwest V, October 13-17.
