The ASI Show Revises Traveling Show Schedule in Cooperation with Regional Associations

TREVOSE, PA — (September 6, 2005) — The ASI Show announced changes to the 2006 Advantages Roadshow schedule as a result of working with the industry’s regional associations. After the initial schedule was published, a few regionals reported show date conflicts which were quickly resolved.

“I’m pleased that the regional associations quickly brought the issues to our attention,” said Matthew Cohn, ASI Show President. “We appreciate the support that the industry’s regional associations have shown to The ASI Show over the years and are glad to continue working positively with them to ensure the most successful industry events in the future.”

The show schedule has now been updated to reflect a number of changes including canceling a couple of locations and switching the timing of 8 events. One of the two Roadshow stops in Atlanta (the one in April) was canceled while the Feb. 13 stop remains as originally scheduled. Birmingham has been eliminated from the schedule. Other changes include adding Little Rock and a second stop to the Northern Virginia/DC area as well as changing the Tennessee schedule to February and the Carolinas/Virginia schedule to April.  Cohn added, “I am excited about the Advantages Roadshow and look forward to exciting events connecting distributors with key industry suppliers right in their backyards.”

The Advantages Roadshow 2006 schedule is published on www.asishow.com. “We are excited that ASI will be putting its marketing and tradeshow experience into a traveling show. There is no doubt that ASI will enable us to reach more distributors and help us grow our business. The Advantages Roadshow will be well attended, successful traveling shows. We are looking forward to participating!” said Frank Rocco from Marathon MFG/Prestige Lines (asi/68707).

Sue Tobias, Executive Vice President of Sales of Fields Manufacturing (asi/54100), commented, “We’re looking forward to meeting new and veteran salespeople at the new Advantages Roadshow! We expect to see people who don’t go to larger shows and spend quality time with them in a smaller show format. We’ll be able to talk and share ideas to help with their needs. We’re doing all of the weeks next year and definitely expect great exposure and results from the Advantages Roadshow!”

John Lindgren, Marketing Manager, SanMar (asi/84863) added, “SanMar is always excited to have the opportunity to meet with customers in their local cities. The Advantages Roadshow allows us to reach out to our customers we may not always see in a larger show format. The show gives us the chance to show what is new and exciting throughout the entire year and assist with any projects they may be working on.”
